VDC Lead Coordinator

Virtual Design for Construction is an imperative process for a successful construction project. DCS will model your disciplines - mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection - and their components to the specified level of detail to your project.

Autodesk BIM 360 Glue Management

DCS can set up and manage your BIM 360 Glue project. Autodesk BIM 360 Glue provides a singular location to coordinate. All models are housed within BIM 360 Glue in the cloud, creating a single location and a live model for all to use, and ease the coordination process.  Pricing varies depending on users per project.

3D Point Cloud Laser Scanning

DCS uses Faro laser scanning equipment to scan whatever you need - indoors or out. We use Autodesk ReCap Pro to register the scans along with cleaning any noise out of our scans. When you receive your deliverable, we’re able to place your scan in the model using northing and easting coordinates from a provided Revit model or survey locations. (DCS does not provide survey data.)

Model Constructability Review

Reviewing the architectural and engineering models for constructability will give you an accurate view of what type of documents you’re receiving. We can identify differences from the details and the building information model that can potentially create installation issues in the field. We can also review the engineers’ drawings and models for proper modeling techniques (pitch pipe, insulation, electrical code clearances, etc).
